This is what it's supposed to look like. Results may vary.

Well, I suppose that's one way to do it.

Players being helpful? Yeah, like that'll ever happen.

Warcraft and Lentil soup, co-existing peacefully.
-
Pay no mind to the magenta text, it will only distract you.

jeskeca saidI'm seeeing a problem where sometimes one of the quests blinks in and out of existance every frame, which causes the entire route to recalc back and forth between two states (one where the quest objective dodad exists, and one where it does not).
Right now it is happening intermittently with "A Lost Master, 4/5 Fine Moonstalker Pelts". It'll flash for 3-5 seconds, and then it'll stop flashing when that quest doodad stays stable for a while.. then it'll start flashing again as they quest starts flipping between existing and not.

Reneg4d3 saidWhen I use this, the quest items/people on the map glitch up, and seem that that are having a hard time figuring out what rout to set, so it twitches between several ones. This is very annoying. I can upload a video that I made of it. Also, if you could fix it so the question mark on the map isn't yellow, that way I know that if a quest isn't complete then I don't go. Because even if my quest isn't done, it still says "Go here to turn in quest" then I waste my time going there to find out I haven't done it.

DarkDusk85 saidMy problem with it is after i complete quests it will most of the time say something like "complete something hidden objective" but there is no hidden objective its just a completed quest. and when i turn them in and get new ones it wont show up the new ones sometimes and the hidden objective thing is still up. so i have to /reloadui to fix the problem every time. how can this be fixed if it can?

koitsu saidvipersniper, just want to let you know that 0.47.19 fixes the memory bloat I was seeing (I did not report it, but it was fairly easy to figure out by toggling off certain add-ons until the bloat stopped). Memory usage for me (total across all add-ons) hovers around 34-37MB, sometimes up to 40MB, but no longer worsens over time.
Thanks for this workaround!

Seldrath saidBeen having problems with memory leaks, seen QH taking up to 135MB of memory. Hope it gets fixed soon. It's a great tool :P

KneazlesKeeper saidI think there maybe a compatibility problem with this newest up-date and CurseClient. My main problem was The Lightheaded part of it went missing. The only way I was able to fix it was to remove it from CurseClient, and from the Wow Add-on file. I then Reloaded it directly to the Add-on file, by passing CurseClient. Everything now appears to be working fine for me.

Kyleigh saidI am having some sort of issue with QH as well... anytime I mouse over a mob, I freeze up and crash. I then get an error message saying there is not enough memory to preform this action. It doesn't happen on any toon but my main alliance one... it doesn't happen if I uninstall QH, and it still happens using the alt version posted here.
Is there an ETA on a permanent fix for this? I am in a tizzy thinking I cant use it. =(

Mirava saidDoes anyone know of a way to disable everything except the minimap and world map icons (quest locations, turn-ins, etc)? That's all that I really need, and the memory usage of this addon (27megs!) is hurting my framerate. I tried using Carbonite, and it only uses 5 megs, but I can't really stand its interface.

TheDud saidTry doing a /qh (/questhelper, either works) and looking through the list of commands. If it's the tracker thing on the right side, I know that one is "/qh tracker" (minus the quotes) so play around with it, but no guarantees.

oyt saidAfter the new WOW update, QH doesn't work at all. Even after a reinstall. Is anyone having this problem and it says that the file is new 2 days ago? Is it fixed yet?

lonadar saidThe latest WoW patch changed some stuff in the way Addons need to work, and QuestHelper stopped working. You can download either the .48 version or the .47-alternate version, both of which work (in most cases) under the new patch.

lonadar saidIf you mean a big arrow over your head, try "/qh cartwp" and see if that re-enables it. That arrow is generated by Cartographer.
If you mean the arrow in the mini-map, are you seeing any objectives in your quest tracker or on your world map? If not, try typing "/qh hidden" and see if your objectives are hidden for some reason.
