cry4dawn saidI am having problems with the Druid flight trinket in Flight Form. It seems to work some of the time and other times it just stops working. Of course I have updated my flight form profile and made sure to ONLY check the box for the flying trinket. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be great.

crazylittleelf saidApologies if this has been covered, but I didn't see it.
Is there a way to have an outfit "equip" slots to be empty? I'd like my fishing outfit to leave off my shoulders, chest, etc. and leave those slots open, but I can't figure out how to do this automatically. Thanks, and sorry if this is a dumb question because I'm missing something.

Mundocani saidSure, it's pretty easy. Open the main Outfitter UI, select your Fishing outfit (so that the checkboxes show up in the item slots), empty the slots you want to have unequip and then make sure there's a checkmark on each of those empty slots. Then when you equip your Fishing outfit those items will be unequipped and those slots will be left empty for you.

Drunkenidiot saidIn battle grounds and in instances, outfitter cant get my weapon swap correct.
Normal Outfit: Main -Merciless Gladiator's Slicer Off- Merciless Gladiator's Shanker. I like to swap them when I stealth but it doesn't work or gets it backwards.

Mundocani saidThis might be the same sort of problem that Marcin was having. Try the Outfitter WotLK beta that's over on wowinterface.com and see if that fixes it (it's the WotLK release of Outfitter, but it runs on the live client as well).

Drunkenidiot saidNope, still not working.
When I am stealthed and I put the weapons in their proper slots and hit "update to current" it switches the weapons and has question marks. Also, I can not click on the question marks to change them to checks.
Could this be because the names of the weapons are long and very similar?

Mundocani saidOutfitter uses the item IDs and various other codes extracted from their links to distinguish them, but it doesn't use the name portion for comparisons. I'm not sure what could be causing this.
Try doing
/outfitter iteminfo [Merciless Gladiator's Slicer]
and then
/outfitter iteminfo [Merciless Gladiator's Shanker]
where the [] stuff is a link to each of the weapons. Outfitter should dump out some info on how it sees the items, so post that info for each weapon here and let's take a look at what's the same and what's different about them that could be confusing Outfitter.

Adrin saidOutfitter keeps jumping between two outfits whenever press the spacebar. I don't see an option in the interface to hotkey swaps. How do I fix this?

Mundocani saidThere is a section in the WoW Keybindings dialog for Outfitter, so I would check there first.
In addition to setting a binding you would have had to assign that binding to an outfit. This makes me suspect that it isn't happening because of a key binding.
This sounds like some sort of interference with/from another addon. Is there anything special about the outfit that's changing? Is there a script attached to it and if so what script?

Marcin saidI have run into probably a very old problem - I have 2 identical 1H weapons (although with a different enchant). Outfitter gives me "item not found" error when I try to switch to an outfit which has the 2 weapons.
Is there a solution?

Mundocani saidTry the WotLK beta version of Outfitter over at wowinterface.com and see if that helps. There was a new field introduced in 2.0 for certain TBC items that Outfitter never used. The beta Outfitter has support for that field and missing that support may be causing Outfitter to have trouble distinguishing your weapons.

Marcin saidIndeed the WotLK beta version of Outfitter is able to handle 2 identical weapons. Thanks!

justvisiting saidI am having issues with my Stealth set (I am a rogue) just flat out I am a new user of this addon and I am trying to use this for my 19 twink, I set up my "Normal" set and my "Stealth" set and I have the bar out and they work when I manually swap using the addon bar but it just wont do the automatic into stealth swap.

Mundocani saidAre you setting the Automation/script for the Stealth outfit to the "Rogue: Stealth" script? It should show a gear icon to the right of the outfit name in the main UI if there is a script attached. If there's no gear icon then there's no automated behavior associated with that outfit and it'll only equip when you manually equip it.

Mundocani saidI haven't heard any other reports of this before so I have no clue how to reproduce it, but maybe you'll figure out something unusual that could be triggering it. Let me know if you find something that makes it happen. Even better is if you can figure out how to make it happen on a friend's machine.

Mirmil saidI found that this addon behaves really bad for feral druids. Why? I have only 2 sets that I use: bear tanking one and DPS cat one (my healing set sits in the bank most of the tiems, so lets not mention it right now). Thing is that I don't have normal caster form set - I simply want to stay in things that I had before: when I was bear I want to stay in tanking gears, when I was in cat I want to stay in dps gear. Therefore I didn't create caster set, but Outfitter kept channging randomly between presets, so whenever I was again in humanoid form I was wearing something different that just before change (from bear to caster in dps gear, from cat to caster in bear form... or from both to birthday suit).
This is annoying and can be potentially dangerous: when I jump into tanking set I start only with about 60% health, so i will be in trouble if I would switch from bear to rebuff and switched back. Similar (but less dangerous) in opposite case - DPSing in tanking gear is just plainly not effective, and accidently jumping into naked set... >.<

Mundocani saidOutfitter works by layering your selected outfits and when you switch out of bear or cat form it will unequip those outfits, leaving you wearing only whatever else you have selected.
You could make Complete outfits for those forms and manually equip them instead of letting the scripts do it, then they'd stay equipped.
You could also turn on "Disable Automatic Changes" when you want to lock down your outfit selection.
A more complex change would be to change your bear and cat outfits to "custom" and remove the NOT_BEARFORM and NOT_CATFORM events from their scripts -- that will cause them to only equip when you enter the form but to never unequip. You could then add a line to each of those two scripts to unequip the other one when it's equipped, like this:
If you need an equip-only style of wardrobe addon then I'd recommend ItemRack, as I believe that's the way it works.

Mirmil saidI've found simpler solution, I just simply removed uneuiping procedure
-- Unequip if leaving the form. If they're in combat also
-- add a 2 second delay so they have time to start casting
-- a heal on themselves without triggering the global cooldown
else
-- equip = false <--- thats what i'm talking about.
if Outfitter.InCombat then
delay = 2
end
end
Effect is now exactly as I wanted: outfitter equips set when I switch into bear/cat but doesn't unequip it after changing to caster form. I can now add another separate caster set that can be equipped in humanoid form if I want and outfitter in any case won't force me to unequip anything :)
Not really sure why it was implemented in first place...
