- Fixed incorrect firing of Sap even if it was resisted.
- Fixed hunters freeze trap where it would start the timer when the
trap was put down and not when the mob entered the trap.
- Fixed issue where no popup would be shown on a normal break.
Installation Guide
- Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
- Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
- Windows XP a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
- WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
- WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Mac Users
- StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
- Verify your WoW Installation Path
That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
- Start World of Warcraft
- Make sure AddOns are installed
- At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
- If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
- If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of wow. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
TOC Numbers (Out of Date Mods)
When Blizzard patches WoW, they change the Interface number. This means that all mods will be "out of date" unless or until the author releases a new version for that interface. Some people go into the .toc files and update the numbers themselves, but this is STRONGLY advised against as it will cause problems locating possible incompatibilities addons. When you log into WoW after a patch, you DO NOT have to delete your interface directory. All you have to do is simply tell WoW to ignore the interface numbers and load all the mods anyway. All you have to do is, while at the "character select" screen, look in the lower left corner and click on the "addons" button. A window will pop up listing all your installed mods.
If you look in the upper left corner of that window there should be a box that says "Load Out of Date AddOns". You want to CHECK this box. Now simply go into WoW normally and all your mods should load. As of the 1.9 patch, you will have to do this after EVERY patch/update that Blizzard posts! If you encounter any problems with a mod after a patch, please be sure to let the author of the mod know so they can fix it.

Mac Support
WoW addons are not platformed based. As such, they can be used on either Mac or PC. You can extract both .zip and .rar files on a Mac using StuffitExpander.

narc0tlc saidkk, i really like this addon. BUT! I would love to use it in arena. Yes, I know it will work in arena, but I was wondering is there a way to change the default announce to a raid warning. I took a look at your script.(Keeping in mind I have no knowledge in programming!)
Afterlife_Announce_Channel = 0;
Is there a way to change that so it broadcast in raid warning. That would be sweet if you could add that option in your next update, or post here on how to do it.
I'm sure that would make a lot of hardcore pvpers happier and spread this addon like wildfire.

All the visual warnings can be disabled by typing /acc in game to open the options screen. Basically tweak it to your liking. =)

Protector said25 man raids. Multi Mages...
The 3d model is the problem.. Won't always disappear after target is dead. Alot of times when broken will display "Free" , even after re-sheeped and stay even if it was killed. Reads other targets as broken to your sheep and timer is lost on your sheep. These are some of the problems I'm getting with previous versions and want to clairify.
Thats why requested some "check" to see if 3d model is still up when target is dead to remove it from screen.. Only bad solution at this point is to RE-Load gui to remove 3d model from screen.
I liked the 3d model and want you to keep it in... It's easier to ""grab"" My attention then a simple bars, "which I have many going on as it is".
As for the batman graphic. Like option to change it from pure white to oplique backround. For me at least, I'm able to turn that off.

Softrix saidin our raids all mages or other classes take care of their own targets and therefore have their own 3d model on their screen... so 5, 10 or even 25 man raids wasnt and still isnt an issue. However, as stated in a previous post im busy testing a multiple target version ideal for raid leaders to monitor his or her raid members crowd control status's.
I'll look into the 3d model issue. It should clear when the target releases, dies or the timer reaches to zero (whichever comes first). I dont seem to see this problem, nor my guild but i will look into it as ive said and if I find anything then be assured it will be corrected.

Softrix saidWhen i first created this addon its primary use was in raids such as Karazhan where our guild has assigned cc targets. However, since deciding to release the addon ive had hundreds of emails with feature requests, your suggestion being many of them =)
Im busy working on a multiple target version but this wont include the 3d interface for fps reasons, and the thoughts of multiple 3d models on the screen would drive people nuts. The test version im working on has bars instead but i wont be removing this version from curse.
You state a graphic still shows although its switched off, are you referring to the 3d target model or the pop batman style graphic?
Hope this helps.

Protector saidOk Small problem. When you have a break or you die. The graphic won't disappear.
Can you set a check to remove the graphic or a small X box to remove the graphic when it gets stuck on screen?
A simplier way to resize the sheep/sap graphic would be nice.
This isn't a new problem, but an on going for several versions now.

2hsprn saidBeen using this for a couple of weeks and I like it. Works on my Priest (shackle), Lock (banish) and Rogue (sap). One problem I'm having; if I'm using the visual "model" of what I sap, and the target doesn't eventually die, the model won't go away. It stays on my screen and gets in the way 'cuz it's so big and I haven't figured out how to resize it. I like the model 'cuz it displays the countdown until CC breaks. If I could get that to display by itself without the target's model, that would be great.
Otherwise, great mod! Thanks for the work.

Softrix saidType /acc for the main options, click on Additional options and you will find the option to hide the 3d interface when timer runs to zero. Since the addon relied on the UNIT_DEAD or PARTY_KILL events this would occur if you went out of range or didnt actually kill it.
